NIGHT 01: HANOI – HA GIANG CITY
Location Hanoi's Old Quarter
15:00_ Pick you up at your Hotel in Ha Noi Old Quarter then depart to Ha Giang.
Location Check in Ha Giang Homestay
23:00_ The bus drops you off at the office in Ha Giang City. Here we have a free room so you can go to sleep a few hours before your trip.

 

DAY 01: HA GIANG CITY – QUAN BA - LUNG CU – DONG VAN TOWN (B, L, D)

Location Have Breakfast
06:30_ Have breakfast at the hotel.
Location Ha Giang - Quan Ba
08:30_ The tour guide will pick you up. Right after that is a sightseeing trip to Ha Giang Loop:

Km0 square. This is the Ha Giang center and the starting point of the route of the road named Happiness from the city to the Meo Vac town with a length of 175 km.

Bac Sum Pass – the first slope welcome to the “Dong Van Karst Plateau GeoPark’’

Heaven’s Gate Quan Ba –  Here you can stop and take pictures of the beautiful Twin mountains at the top of the slope.

Can Ty Pass – with an altitude of 1000- 1200 meters above sea level. You can admire the beautiful and majestic scenery.

Location Yen Minh - Have Lunch
12:00_ Have lunch with local food at Yen Minh small town. After continuing the trip.

14:00_ Tham Ma pass – we can stop at the top of the slope and enjoy the beautiful slope.

15:00_ Visit Sung La Valley and Lung Cam – This is a small village with classic houses of the Hmong people. Typically you can visit the house named after Pao’s house.

16:00_ Visit the Hmong king’s palace.

17:00_ Lung Cu flag pole –  here you can visit Lo Lo Chai village (a small and old village of Lo Lo ethnic people)
Location Dong Van - Check in Homestay
18:00_ We arrive and check-in at the hotel in Dong Van town.

19:30_ Have dinner at Old Quarter. After you can walk around.

DAY 02: DONG VAN – MEO VAC - DU GIA VILLAGE. (B, L, D)
Location Have Breakfast
07:00_ Have breakfast and try local food: Pho, Banh Cuon …. at the market.

( If it’s  Sunday morning, you can attend the local market of ethnic people )

07:30_ We’re leaving Dong Van town to Du Gia village. Then driving on the road with the special name “Happiness Road”, on the way you can visit:

Ma Pi Leng Pass - At an altitude of over 1200 meters above sea level with a beautiful mountain view, below is the Nho Que river. Then this is a great place for sightseeing and taking photos. Also here you can stop and have a cup of coffee at the Panorama stop (this one you pay yourself about 60.000 VND)

Visit the Nho Que River by boat. Then the Meo Vac town.

Meo Vac town, local market….

12:30_ Have lunch at Mau Due small town. After we’re driving go to Du Gia village.

Location Du Gia - Check in Homestay
16:00_ Arrive homestay check-in. After you walk around the village or go to the small waterfall swim and nearby relax.

19:00_ Have dinner at homestay and sleep here 1 night.

DAY 03: DU GIA – LUNG TAM VILLAGE -  HA GIANG CITY - SAPA (B, L)
Location Have Breakfast
07:00_ Have breakfast at homestay. After you can walk around the village.
Location Lung Tam - Quan Ba
09:00_ We check out the room and go back to Ha Giang City. On the way back you can visit:

Lung Tam Silk Village.

Nam Dam village – a little walk to visit Nam Dam village of ethnic Dao people.

13:00_ Have lunch at Quan Ba town.

Location Ha Giang - Sapa
16:00_ Arrive at Ha Giang city office. Get a free roomwaiting for the bus to pick up at 20:00 to come back to Sapa.

Overnight on sleeping bus
03:00: When the bus arrives in Sapa, you will continue sleeping on the bus until 6:00 AM.

DAY 4: SAPA TREKKING – Y LINH HO VILLAGE (B, L, D)
Location Meet Local Guide - Breakfast
06:00: Tour Guide picks you up and leads you the a restaurant to have breakfast. Our guide will then greet you and give you additional details about the trek.
Location Y Linh Ho Village
At approximately 09:00, you will begin your Sapa trekking tour and make your way through the fields to Y Linh Ho village, the home of the Black Hmong. The Black H’mong are proud of their culture and they have their language and wear traditional indigo blue clothing.

The trek to the village will allow you to admire beautiful nature, take photographs of hereditary terraces that are estimated around 100 years old, and see the daily life of the locals. After about 2 hours of trekking, you will reach Y Linh Ho village, located in a beautiful area by the Muong Hoa River in the central part of the valley.

Have lunch at local restaurant.

Keep trekking to Homestay in the town.

Location Check in Homestay - Dinner
NIGHT 5: After checking in at the homestay, you will have a little time to explore the area before the dinner is served. The homestay is a traditional stilt house where you will spend the night.

DAY 5: Y LINH HO – LAO CHAI – TA VAN – GIANG TA CHAI – SAPA – HANOI (B, L)
Location Have Breakfast
After having breakfast at homestay.
Location Lao Chai Village
08:00_you will say goodbye to your hosts and continue trekking to Lao Chai village and learn more about the local culture and customs. The trek on the narrow paths, through the fields will bring you closer to the local life.

 

Location Ta Van Village
After relaxing time, you will walk to Ta Van village to visit the Giay people. The Giay minority in Ta Van have their own distinct culture and lifestyle. They live in mountain valleys near their fields where they cultivate wet rice.
Location Giang Ta Chai Village
Then you continue your trek through an enchanting bamboo forest and a waterfall to visit Giang Ta Chai village where you can see the Red Dao people. The women of the Red Dao have very colorful red embroideries, and coins on their clothing, and wear red scarves on their heads. Some of the women shave their eyebrows because they believe a hairless face is beautiful.

You will stop for lunch before leaving Giang Ta Chai and driving to Sapa.

Location Sapa Town - Hanoi
In Sapa, you will have time to relax at the Hotel until you are picked up to board your afternoon bus back to Hanoi.
Location Hanoi's Old Quarter
20:30: The bus will arrive in Hanoi in the evening and drop you off at the bus stop on Tran Quang Khai Street, near the Old Quarter.
