Ma Phuc Pass
Visit Ma Phuc Pass, a key section of the QL3 highway, is a picturesque mountain pass located in Cao Bang Province, Northern Vietnam. It’s part of the Non-Nuoc Cao Bang Global Geopark, which UNESCO recognizes for its unique geological and cultural significance. While Ma Phuc Pass may not be as iconic as some of Vietnam’s more famous mountain passes, such as the Me Pja Pass or the Ma Pi Leng Pass in Ha Giang, it offers a tranquil and scenic drive that is a highlight of any journey through Cao Bang.

Phia Thap Incense Village
Then you will visit Phia Thap incense village, which is located in Cao Bang province in Vietnam, and is one of many incense villages spread throughout the country. However, it is one of the few remaining villages in Vietnam where incense is still made entirely by hand, making it an interesting stopover when exploring the Cao Bang province.

Phuc Sen Commune
Visit Phuc Sen commune currently has about 150 family-sized workshops, evenly distributed in six hamlets: upper and lower Phia Chang, Dau Co, Pac Rang, Tinh Dong, and Lung Vai. Local craftsmen still work manually, mainly based on long-term experience from choosing raw materials, and how to forge steel to apply their know-how to create products such as knives, scissors, hoe, sickle... of premium quality.

Ha Lang District

After lunch, keep moving to Ha Lang, which has a complex terrain, due to the geological tectonics gradually lowering from West to East. The mountains are high and rugged, the geology is strongly divided. There are many giant faults from 5 to 10 km long, creating deep crevices and caves. The caves and natural landscapes have majestic beauty. Ha Lang has long been known as a land with a long-standing culture, rich in national identity. Especially converging many historical relics and recognized scenic spots.

Nguom Ngao Cave

After that, the group will go to visit Nguom Ngao Cave, situated in Gun Village, within Cao Bang Province, not far from the Vietnam-China border. This region is celebrated for its breathtaking natural beauty, featuring lush mountains, serene valleys, and enchanting waterfalls. Despite its ancient origins, the cave remained unknown until 1921, when it was first discovered. It wasn’t until 1996 that the cave was opened to the public, allowing visitors to experience its natural beauty.

Ban Gioc Waterfall

08:30_Our local tour guide will pick you up and start to explore Ban Gioc Waterfall - the largest and most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam, located in the northeastern province of Cao Bang. The water rumbles down 3 levels and is 30 meters high and 300 meters wide. This also makes the Ban Gioc waterfall the widest waterfall in Vietnam.

Ngoc Con Village 

Visit Ngoc Con village: This is a commune in Trung Khanh district. Coming here, you will be immersed in the floating clouds amidst the majestic, poetic scenery of mountains, rivers, and fields stretching to the distance. Ngoc Con is so beautiful in August-October and is the must-visit destination for the Cao Bang tour. Like Phong Nam Valley, very few tourists and tour companies know about Ngoc Con.

Nui Thung Mountain

Keep going to Nui Thung Mountain, also called Angel Eye Mountain, which is still a very unknown place, just 30 km from Cao Bang City and 70 km from Ban Gioc waterfall. It is not only the mountain that is worth a day trip, but the whole area, with Thang Hen Lake, villages, mountains, and rice fields, all located in a hidden valley called Tuyet Tinh Coc.

16:30 - 17:00_Return back Homestay in Cao Bang city. Have dinner at Homestay.

20:00_Get on a sleeping overnight bus and return to Hanoi.

03:30_Our bus drop you off near Hanoi's Old Quarter. End the trip and say goodbye.
